April 6,11 (MM: BAM Cupcakes)

Today we made BAM Cupcakes. These are Bad A$$ Mineer Cupcakes. My friend Hillary Mineer gave me this recipe to try out and it was a total success. I know I typically do semi-homemade kind of styles, but I stepped outside my box today and made real cupcakes. Peanut Butter with chocolate chips. The only things I changed from her recipe was I had full size chips and it said to use mini, and I used self rising flower and I omitted the salt and baking powder in lieu of All Purpose flour.
Skylar did nearly everything on her own. She was really into it tonight, lol. Sebastian was the one that was just being fussy. He perked up when I asked if he wanted to coat the chips in flour for me though. Of course, this meant sampling them of course. (just FYI: it's best to coat them so they don't sink to the bottom of your cupcakes)
Also I used frosting that was made with Hershey chocolate. Oh and I had to pipe it on just cuz its fun, hahaha. Here are some pics!
