Fear-erWorks!!

Oh my goodness! I just have to share this story because I am a sappy mommy, basically. ha ha
A quick side story is the firework show we had this year was super tiny. Skylar literally bought 3 bottle rocket type deals that my father-in-law(FIL) set off for us. FIL put them in an old Pepsi bottle in the street and lit them. The entire show lasted-MAYBE- five minutes. Sebastian calls the Fear-er works. ha ha

So last night while tucking in Sebastian he kept muttering something in his tiny sleepy voice that I couldn't quite make out. which is weird cuz I can always understand him. He kept saying "*something* all done" I didn't want to hurt his feelings by being all "I don't understand you??? what??" so I was just like "is it all done?" and he kept repeating it, so I was like "yeah all done! Let's yell it: ALL DONE" so he got louder and I totally got what he said:
"FEARERWORKS ALL DONE" LOL, (ahhhh fireworks!!!)
then I asked him if he liked the fireworks and he went on a 4 MINUTE NON STOP description. cutest thing ever! He was all "pawpaw in bottle. street. they go (and he was using his hands mimicking them) ptshhhhhh BOOM....pshhhhhhhhh BOOOMM!! So pretty! fearerworks BOOM they go BOOM soooo pretty. now all done?" he went on and on about it so cute and serious and animated! I literally had tears in my eyes.

So, I guess our mini firework show had a huge impact on it's smallest audience member

Who are you?

Hello Readers!!
Ok, so I have 22 "followers". I find this incredible bizarre, haha. People are actually reading my ridiculous nonsense? Neat!! I always try to write this in the "voice" as though someone is actually reading it, but never really though people would be. I also checked my stats and a lot of people have actually read this blog!!
Wow, way to overuse the word "actually" !!! I can't help it, I am shocked. So since you get to stalk my life, (heheheh kinda fun peeking in someones life huh? haha) I would LOVE to see yours! Post a comment, tell me about you. What do you like reading about on here and I'll try to make it more interesting for you. (remember the word TRY haha) Do you have a blog? Post the link, I'd love to check it out!
Hope to hear from you!!!

Shoes make me happy

I got 4 pairs of shoes in the mail. What better way for a girl to start her day?! My good friend was cleaning out her shoe closet and we are the same size. Free heels??? YES PLEASE. I just adore the lil peep toe shoes, while Sebastian prefers to stumble around in some crazy high stilettos. What? I allow my boy to wear heels??? Uh, yeah. he's 20 months and loves playing in shoes, and no I don't think it will *damage* him. Don't get me started on stereotypes. This is happy day! (I'll battle in a boy in heels debate later, ha ha jk)
So now I have my shoes...just need a place to wear them to.....

(btw, I also received New Balance gym shoes but were wearing them and forgot a pic! LOL)

Nesting cars

4 nesting cars. I don't know why but as my son played with these today it made me think of our family.  As he played he labeled them too. Mommy car, daddy car, Sissy car, and Baby car. Guess he felt the way I did.
The cars are fine on their own. The can drive around and be just fine, but they are hollow. Each smaller car can fit inside the next size up until they are all consumed by the red car. Then they are no longer hollow and much stronger.
These little nesting cars remind me of families. Sure apart we are all fine, but together we are much stronger.

and there is my sappy moment for today,,,,haha
